- Your domain should reflect your business name, products you offer, or topics your site will cover.
- Try .net and .org extensions — they're as well-known as .com, but you'll have more options.

To transfer your domain to Yahoo!:
- Enter your domain name and select your domain extension, then complete your order.
- Contact your current domain registrar for your authorization code or registry key (we'll let you know which one you need).
- After you complete your order, we'll ask you to verify your email address, then enter your authorization code or registry key to complete the transfer.

- When you're done, notify the company currently managing your domain that you plan to use it with Yahoo! (we'll show you how to do this).
